You have the option to adjust the video quality in both "Video" and "Coaching" modes, depending on your preferences or internet connection. This can help improve the smoothness of the activity, especially if you're experiencing loading times.
The different available quality levels
Kinomap offers several video quality levels:
SD (Standard Definition): Low quality, ideal for slow connections.
HD (High Definition): Medium quality, a good balance between quality and speed.
FHD (Full HD): Highest available quality, requires a strong internet connection.
AUTO: The app automatically selects the most suitable quality based on your real-time connection.
How to change the video quality?
Select an activity in Video or Coaching mode. Once the video has been selected, choose between SD, HD, FHD, or leave it on AUTO for automatic quality adjustment.
Please note that you can also change the video quality after the video has started. Once the video is playing, tap the settings icon (⚙️) located at the top right of the screen. Go to the "Video Quality" setting, then choose between SD, HD, FHD, or leave it on AUTO for automatic adjustment.
What to do if you see the "Buffering..." message?
If you see the message:
In this case, we recommend that you:
- Manually reduce the video quality as indicated above.
- Or download the video in advance for offline use.
