The video will start once it receives values from the equipment. If you are stuck at the 'start pedaling/running/rowing', that means we didn't receive any value from the equipment.
To ensure that the equipment is correctly paired and provides accurate data, please follow the procedure and send us a screenshot of your data preview as shown below.
Please send a screenshot of this menu at support@kinomap.com if your device can't connect or if you don't receive any value from the equipment.
There are multiple scenarios:
1. Your equipment remains on the 'connecting' status
That means we can't even pair it and so, we won't be able to get values.
- Make sure you didn't make a mistake in the model that you selected in the app. Two bikes from the same brand don't always use the same protocol and so, you need to choose the right model in the list.
- Make sure you selected the right Bluetooth device (TACX Bushido 01337 in the example). It sometimes happens that users select their Apple Watch, their headset, their television, or any other Bluetooth device but not their equipment.
If you detect several Bluetooth devices and you are not sure about the one to select, just turn off your fitness equipment: the Bluetooth ID that disappeared is your fitness equipment. Turn it on and select it so.
- if your device is compatible with another app using Bluetooth, it can be interesting to test it.
- If you have another phone or tablet, it's interesting to test it with the app.
2. Your equipment is shown as 'connected' but doesn't provide any values:
- Make sure you didn't make a mistake in the model that you selected in the app. Two bikes from the same company don't always use the same protocol and so, you need to choose the right model in the list.
- Make sure you selected the right Bluetooth device (TACX Bushido 01337 in the example). It sometimes happens that users select their Apple Watch, or their television, or any other Bluetooth device but not their equipment.
If you detect several Bluetooth devices and you are not sure about the one to select, just turn off your fitness equipment: the Bluetooth ID that disappeared is your fitness equipment. Turn it on and select it so.
- if your device is compatible with another app using Bluetooth, please try it and check the values that you receive.
3. Your equipment is shown as 'connected' and provides some values:
According to the equipment type, some values are mandatory such as the power for bikes. If so, please, send us a screenshot as requested in the process.

Kinomap does not pick up cadence from my Garmin candence sensor. The sensor has a new battery! The App is on my new Ipad with blue tooth. I try to connect the sensor when I am pedaling too! The cadence sensor is not found!!!
Come one; please fix this. I am paying for your App!
I have something similar to you all.
I have a DKN Airun - XB treadmill. All was working well with the treadmill and my 8th gen iPad connecting etc to Kinomap.
One day the iPad connected to the treadmill as normal by dropping out the main screen on the treadmill showing that Bluetooth had comnected. However when trying to start the workout, the machine remains in the connecting phase.
Ironically on Android devices everything still works as normal 🤔. Very frustrating and I can't decide if it's something Kinomap have done on their update or if Apple have adjusted something with Bluetooth settings on their latest iOS update.
Very frustrating! Does anyone else have this issue with Android devices working and iOS not working? Thanks
