Why does the Android app ask so many permissions?

Since the release of Android 6.0, Google has made some big changes when we request a particular function such as Bluetooth. Your permission is now required to use several functions.

In our training applications (KETTMaps, Kinomap, BH by Kinomap and B'TWIN Training), we ask your permission for the following functions:

• Access your camera and files: this permission allows us to use your phone's camera as a cadence sensor if you don't have any connected equipment.

• Access your location and Bluetooth: this authorizes us to access the Bluetooth module on your phone or tablet.

• Access your storage: this allows us to save data on your phone, such as your nickname and personal settings.
