If you're using a power meter, you're probably aware of certain power values that you're capable of developing for a few seconds or several minutes at your best. The Record Power Profile (RPP) goes a step further, it groups together all your best performances from 1 second to several hours.
What's it for?
The PPR is like a DNA sequence. It is unique to each cyclist and shows the athlete's characteristics: sprinter, climber, rouleur, puncher.
Kinomap now shows you your power profile based on your training history!
In this example, we can see that I managed to produce a maximum power of 215 watts for 45 seconds.
Are you a sprinter, puncheur, or climber? Do you really know your strengths and weaknesses? Establishing your Record Power Profile can help you get to know yourself better and adjust your preparation at any time of the season.
