The new Kinomap training screen has been redesigned to allow you to personalize your experience even further while keeping your main data accessible during your session. You can notably modify the data display, video quality, sound, map, certain information related to simulation, or even the leaderboard display.
The main training screen
During your session, the main information is directly visible on the screen. Depending on your equipment and the data it transmits, you can notably find:
the duration of your workout
power in Watts
speed in km/h
distance covered
cadence in RPM
slope
resistance level when your equipment allows it
The video elevation profile is also displayed at the bottom of the screen to allow you to view your progress along the route.
Access the options during training
To access the different options, pause your workout. To do this, tap once in the center of the screen. You will then be able to:
resume your session
access "Settings"
modify "Data display"
activate "Immersion mode"
quit your workout

Training settings
From "Settings", several categories are available:
Video
Audio
Map
Simulation
These options can be modified directly during your session.
Video settings
In the "Video" tab, you can modify the video playback quality. The available qualities are:
AUTO
SD
HD
FHD
The selected quality can have an impact on the amount of internet data used as well as on playback smoothness.

Audio settings
In the "Audio" tab, you can enable or disable the video sound.
Map settings
In the "Map" tab, you can choose the type of map displayed during your session. Three displays are available:
Standard
Satellite
Hybrid
Simulation settings
The "Simulation" tab allows you to personalize certain information or animations displayed during your workout. You can:
enable resistance change sounds
display the resistance change animation
display gap animations with other users
Some features may depend on the type of equipment used and the data it is able to transmit to Kinomap.
Customize the data display
From the pause screen, click on "Data display" to personalize the information visible during your session. Several options are available.
Change the data size
In the "Visibility" tab, you can choose the size of the data blocks displayed on the screen. Three levels are available:
80%: video priority, the data remains visible but more discreet
100%: balanced profile
120%: data priority, the video remains visible
You also have the option to disable the blur present on the tiles where the data appears.
Choose your data layout
In the "Values" tab, you can choose the layout of the blocks displayed during your session. Several configurations are available in order to prioritize certain indicators or display more values simultaneously.
You can then choose the data displayed in each block. Among the available information:
Duration
Power
Speed
Distance
Cadence
Slope
Change the leaderboard display
In the "Leaderboard" tab, you can choose between two display types:
Compact
Large
The compact display reduces the space occupied by the leaderboard, while the large display provides more information about other users.

End your workout
When you pause your session and then choose to quit, a summary of your activity is displayed. You can notably find:
distance covered
activity duration
your average speed
calories burned
Two choices are available:
"Resume workout" to continue your session
"Quit" to end and save your activity
You can also add a comment before saving your activity.
