Want to use your own route in Kinomap? You can, thanks to GPX file import! Here's how.
🔄 What is a GPX file?
A GPX file contains GPS data for a route (coordinates, altitudes, times, etc.), usually recorded via a smartwatch, mobile app or GPS sensor.
📥 How do I upload my GPX track to Kinomap?
-
Record your activity with your favourite app or device (smartphone, smartwatch, GPS sensor, etc.).
-
Export your activity in .gpx format.
-
Go to our website at the following address:
Click on the ‘GPS track’ tab to access the import area.
-
Drop your GPX file in the designated area.
-
Give your track a title (required) and click on ‘Start download’.
⚠️ If you do not give a title, the box will turn red and you will not be able to confirm the import.
-
Once the import is complete, a confirmation message will appear.
🗺️ What next? Discover Map Mode
Once your route has been imported, you can find it in the Kinomap app via Map Mode. This mode allows you to follow your virtual route while training.
