On Kinomap, you can use the front camera of your phone or tablet as a sensor for cadence, stride, or rowing stroke.
The system analyzes the movement of your head to determine your cadence.
This solution is very convenient if your equipment is not compatible with our app or does not have a Bluetooth/ANT+ chip.
To add this sensor in Kinomap, simply follow these instructions:
Go to the "Equipment Management" menu and press "Add Device" or the "+" button in the top right corner.
Then select the type of equipment you wish to use and choose "Optical Sensor."
When your face appears, press the "Add" button and enter the name you want to give to your equipment.
Note that you can enter any information you like here; these details are purely for reference purposes. It's only necessary to fill in the two fields.
Your equipment is successfully added. You will then have the option to display the camera (and thus your face) on your training screens. To do this, go to Settings and then to "Training Settings". From there, you can choose to enable or disable the "Display sensor camera video" option.
