The video starts as soon as it receives data from your equipment. If you're stuck with the message "Start pedaling/rowing/running", it means we are not receiving any data from your equipment.
To ensure your equipment is properly paired and is sending accurate data, please follow the steps below:
✅Initial check
1. Open the Settings menu > Equipment Management.
2. Tap the gear icon next to your equipment.
3. Make sure the status shows "Connected" and that you see values appear when you begin exercising.
🔍 Possible situations
1. Your equipment is stuck on "Connecting..."
This means the connection has not been established.
-
Make sure you selected the correct model in the app.
-
Select the right Bluetooth device (e.g., Kinomap mock bike). Avoid connecting to nearby devices such as watches, headphones, or TVs.
-
If several Bluetooth devices appear, turn off your fitness equipment: the disappearing ID is the correct one. Turn it back on and select it again.
-
You can also try using a different app compatible with your equipment, or a different phone/tablet.
2. Your equipment is "Connected" but not sending any data
The connection is active, but no data is received.
-
Double-check the selected model and Bluetooth device.
-
Repeat the method above to identify the correct device.
-
Try testing with another compatible app or a different mobile device to see if data is displayed.
3. Your equipment is "Connected" and sends partial data
Some essential values are missing (e.g., power for bikes).
-
In this case, please send us a screenshot of the equipment screen so we can investigate.
To help with the diagnosis, please send us a screenshot of your equipment’s menu along with the results of your tests, possibly conducted with other applications or devices. You can email these items to support@kinomap.com, or reply to your existing ticket if you have already opened one.

Kinomap does not pick up cadence from my Garmin candence sensor. The sensor has a new battery! The App is on my new Ipad with blue tooth. I try to connect the sensor when I am pedaling too! The cadence sensor is not found!!!
Come one; please fix this. I am paying for your App!
I have something similar to you all.
I have a DKN Airun - XB treadmill. All was working well with the treadmill and my 8th gen iPad connecting etc to Kinomap.
One day the iPad connected to the treadmill as normal by dropping out the main screen on the treadmill showing that Bluetooth had comnected. However when trying to start the workout, the machine remains in the connecting phase.
Ironically on Android devices everything still works as normal 🤔. Very frustrating and I can't decide if it's something Kinomap have done on their update or if Apple have adjusted something with Bluetooth settings on their latest iOS update.
Very frustrating! Does anyone else have this issue with Android devices working and iOS not working? Thanks
I'm having trouble starting Kinomap videos. I get the "Start pedaling" message, just like many others here. My equipment (Tacx Neo 2T) connects via Bluetooth on my Samsung S23 and shows as "Connected" in Kinomap's equipment management. However, no data is transmitted to the app, so the video won't start.
Like some users mentioned, my trainer works perfectly with other Bluetooth apps and displays data correctly there. This leads me to believe the issue lies within Kinomap's interaction with my specific trainer model, despite it being listed as compatible. I've tried restarting everything, re-pairing, and checking for other Bluetooth devices interfering, but no luck. Is there a known issue with the Tacx Neo 2T and Kinomap, or perhaps a specific setting I should check? Any help would be much appreciated.
I was asking for your help...I am paying your services for years and also when I did not use your services and even when the app sometimes did not work..but now I really have an issue and you do not respond for two days when I need help. Only my money you want and you do not care for me and my problems with your app..and your app is the one that is not working...not my Eliptic. I expected at least your response that you will fix it. Nothing from you...so so sad!!! so for the first time in few years I resigned frOm the regular payment,... I quit and it shouldn't be that way.
