Wenn Sie über interaktive Geräte verfügen , wird eine Schwierigkeitsoption mit den Tasten '+' und '-' angezeigt:

Where is this option? Nothing to see in my display

This BUG is now one year old and was introduced somewhaere in february or so.
Before, I could change gears on my Sportstech bike.
Now, the app changes the gears back to what it believes it should be according to the slope of the terrain.

This is annoying and renders my training useless. When you want to train with constant resistence of 250Watt, it is not possible anymore.

I will not extend my mebership.

Hi, I have exactly the same issue.

Before I could select a specific gear during the workout in my BH iSpada 2 bike, which allowed me to keep a constant resistance. Since this new feature was introduced (relative difficulty based on percentage) I cannot do that anymore because I lose all the time the reference on the gear I was using (BH iSpada has 24 resistance levels). Actually I have not renewed my subscription because of this missing functionality.  You should give the choice to the user - in the settings menu for instance - whether they prefer relative difficulty or fixed difficulty (as it was before). Do you have any news on this?

The original request is many months old, and still no answer to such a basic question. :-(
Having the same problem. Trying to workout with a Skandika Njord, but nowhere can I find a way to adjust the resistance.
I am new to Kinomap, and what I've seen so far is really putting me off this app.

Major bugs after software update the percentage resistance option disappears from structured workouts ? Very unclear menu to setup Kinomap developers can improve this !

I’ve got the same problem as Roger Clark mentions.
Where can I set the resistance when it’s not visible in the mail screen?

Hi Erwin to get around issue I have had I have to search for SPORTMODE if you go in here you can then change the resistance type which I could do for cycling even though I am using elliptical . The main issue is that there is no option to set resistance in percentages for structured elliptical workouts hoping Kinomap can sort this soon 👍

    Hi Roger,
    Thanks for the fast feedback.
I’ll go looking for the Sportmode and hope it will work this way for me as well.
I also hope Kinomap can fix this soon.
    Have a nice day.

I have an interactive elliptical and I used to have the difficulty setting and the resistance was changed automatically according to the training video. But then it suddenly stopped, the resistance doesn't change and I can't change the difficulty. These were the only reason I even got Kinomap subscription.

I have the same problem. After purchasing the subscription, the resistance stopped changing. My equipment is Spirit XE295.

Just bought a Joroto X2 pro exercise bike. I have setup an account at Kinomap and added the bike and heart rate monitor, as I have to change the resistance manually I can do that, however I can see what resistance I need to set to but I cannot see what my resistance is set to when I’m changing it as it does not show up on the training screen, is there a bug or can I not get my information, I have 14 days left but there would be no point in a paid subscription if I cannot see this simple information in the app, on the bike it shows what I’ve set my resistance too on the computer display but when connected to kinomap the display is turned off, any help on this matter would be appreciated, as I say if there is no way to see my resistance level on the app then I won’t take paid subscription and use the free training programs on YouTube .

Hi Grant hope well! I just saw your post and checked out the workaround we have used here on a stepper . I had to search for SPORT MODE in kinomap to setup the variable resistance on screen to more sensitive % levels which works better imo. When you select SPORTMODE there are menu settings appearing at top of screen, give it a try if you like 👍

Ok I have messed around for an hour and cannot find sports mode on the screen on iPad or tablet, I subscribed for the month to see if it was hidden for the free service, seems a waste of time it did nothing, looks like I will be cancelling subscription and will ask for a full refund from joroto for the exercise bike as its says compatible with Kinomap which clearly is false. I really wish I could see the resistance value on screen, it’s crazy to spend £500 on a bike and it can’t do a simple thing.

Hi Grant sorry no success can I ask did you search for this on the Kinomap app itself the settings can be changed at top of menu .

Did you manage to link to joto in the equipment management section in settings- this would be needed ? I have this linked to the DNK stepper we use here in Crieff

Yep I checked all settings, the bike is connected via the blue tooth, the small display on the bike turns off when you use the Bluetooth with the app, the display on bike when not using the Bluetooth does show what you have the resistance set to.

Hi Grant do you definitely have the equipment recognised as above on Kinomap in list of known devices I think this is needed as above with the dkn association shown. Although smart connection Bluetooth this might also be necessary to get it working !

Just in case here is what we had to use to get variable resistance as a percentage ( more sensitive to changes ) you’ll see the sport mode had to be searched in bar at top in order to change the settings underneath . Kinomap can improve this ! Can’t now upload as 2 mb limit reached

I will speak to the bike maker and see if they have any solutions, I guess I could disconnect the Bluetooth and cycle with the bike monitor and see what one turn of resistance knob does and then I can work out how many turns I need to make to reach the correct resistance level when connected to Bluetooth, need to be working out maths all time so not ideal.
