The good news is that Kinomap TV is now available from the PlayStore!
This version, which is lighter than the mobile version, only includes the training mode with scenic videos.
Note that Kinomap TV is compatible with Chromecast from the following versions:
- Chromecast Google TV (Sabrina)
- Chromecast Google TV HD (Boreal)
Finally, the details of the activities will not be visible on this application, but you will find them on the mobile version and the website.
To get started, once you've downloaded Kinomap onto your Smart TV, you'll need to log in with your usual login details.
Once you have logged in, the videos page will appear. To add your equipment, select the "Settings" button in the top left-hand corner.
On this page, select "Add new equipment".
Then choose the category of your equipment.
Then choose the make and model of your equipment.
All that's left is to select "Add new equipment" to confirm.
Then return to the previous menu.
You can change the units of measurement if required.
Return to the previous menu to display the list of videos.
Feel free to scroll down to select the video according to Our recommendations, your country's Top 10, Themes and Countries as well as your Favourites and all videos.
There's just one step left: choose the quality of the video, whether you want sound in the video and select the video mode: Discovery or Challenge. Click on "Start" and off you go!
Just like in the smartphone and tablet app, you can change display settings, view map mode, adjust resistance and pause, delete your current activity or save it and exit to resume it later. You can even like this video and add it to your Favourites!

De kinomap app wordt niet gevonden op mijn Samsung smart tv.
Kinomap is not found om my Samsung smart tv
TV needs Bluetooth to connect to equipment then? Does Chromecast have Bluetooth built in if TV does not? How do you operate the on screen menus as tablet and phone are touch screen?
I can connect trainer, but can not find an option to connect heart rate monitor...how to do that?
Hi Martin, it says on the description above that you cannot add another sensor.
Ah thanks Pete, I did not read it like that...it is a bit useless then...
I have a Jet Black Volt and I can connect my HRM to that. It then broadcasts the HRM with all the other data so I'm hoping that will work but I want to know what TVs this app works with. What TV are you using or are you using Chromecast?
I'm using Elite Nero, will check that option of adding HRM there. As for TV, I have Android Projector that has Android TV installed as an operating system (from factory). I installed Kinomap through Play Store that was there, designed specifically for Android TV. I assume all TVs with Android should support it.
Thanks for the feedback Martin.
Hi, the speed and timer in my view are not changing, like if the training has not started.
only on the projected screen. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks
