What is the profile training ?

The profile training is a type of training that involves a series of low to high-intensity workouts interspersed with rest or relief periods. 

Varying the intensity of your effort exercises the heart muscle, providing a cardiovascular workout, improving aerobic capacity and permitting the person to exercise for longer and/or at more intense levels.

Actually, it's available on Kinomap, B'Twin Training, and KETTMaps. 

You can train on 13 types of exercise : 


Once you chose one of them, you can define the duration of the training session, and tap on 'start'.


Now you have the choice between two modes : 


- Target power: you define a target power and the resistance change automatically to make you produce it. 

If you see a green line, that means you are near your target. 
Conversely, the orange line means you draw away from your goal. (increase the target power or slow down) 



- Resistance: you define a resistance level and we send the instructions to the home trainer, no matter the produced power. 




Once the activity is started, you can increase or decrease the target power/resistance (depending on the mode you chose), by taping on '+' or '-' button:  

Note: If your equipment is not interactive, you'll have to change manually the resistance, then only the 'target power' mode will be available. 

Note: the resistance and target are available according to your equipment. Some fitness equipment doesn't support the 'target power' mode.
