    Hi Luis,

Automatic export to Garmin connect is under consideration.

I'll get back to you once I'll have more information.

    Have a nice day.

    Cedric.

    Hi Luis,

Are there news for using Garmin Connect? Is it possible to export the aktivity manually from kinomap and then import to Garmin Connect?

    Thanks Franz

    Hello

It's possible to export to strava the location of the activity???

Is a nice think have the merge of the data activity (heard rate, power, etc) but also the location/map (lat. log.) of activity.

    Hello

Data export to Strava does not work on my account. Does anyone know how to fix this?
I receive a message: "An error occurred while sharing your activity on the chosen platform. If the problem persists please contact our support."

    Hello Luiz/Franz/All,

Regarding manually putting your activity onto Garmin Connect, I do the following -

    1. Connect your Kinomap to Strava (if you haven't already) and your activity should automatically upload to Strava as usual.

    2. Log into Strava on your PC and go to your activity, click on the 3 dots and Export the GPX file top a location/folder on your PC.

    3. Log into Garmin Connect and go to 'Import Data' (via little cloud icon in top right corner) and a box will appear for you to drop the GPX file into.

    4. Drag your file into the box and click 'Import Data'

This should do it - most of the data should be there. I think Calories & Power are the only missing elements, I usually add these manually from Strava data which takes seconds.

Let me know how you get on!?

    Hello,

it would be an alternative option for native Apple Health integration to share with Garmin connect (which DOES integrate with Apple Health).

Please, please enable easy sharing of my fitness data...

2 years "under consideration" means 2 years no solution :-)

For the power is not possible to add, and cadence is also missing. :(

Would be really good to be able to just sync all activity data into Garmin. Any news if this will be possible, @Cedric Turczyn ?

    @Itamar Lourenço

One thing I've noticed is once you have imported the information into Garmin Connect, if you change the activity type to Virtual Ride it keeps the cadance data! (You need to do this before you start to edit) only missing information then is the power, which I just manually go in to edit as it only takes a few seconds! I've also noticed that the max speed needs to be changed as it is usually too high... I usually overwrite this with the info on kinomap app or strava.

Would be great if kinomap could sort this so we can directly import to Garmin connect though as it seems most of the info is there, we just need the GPX file!?

    @deanbloomfield

Found an easy way and to have all showing correctly in Garmin. Either GPX or TCX have the data there but then the issue is when Garmin reads the file.

I've been playing a bit with them, and the easiest way is to export here in Kinomap as a TCX, edit the file and change the Sport to other, ie: <Activity Sport="Other"> . Uploaded to Garmin, change the activity type to indoor rowing. All data and graphs will appear expect for the cadence/stroke rate. For this, just edit the activity - you'll see all data is already filled in except for avg and max. cadence - just save it even without changing anything and the stroke data/graph will now appear.

The activity will be proper categorized and will have all info there :)

edit: btw, the calories value needs to be updated as it seems that when exporting from here it's exported as 0 (zero)

I am able to share my activity on Kinomap (automatically) with my strava feed.  However, in the activity, the elevation amount is missing.    Is there a setting I missed.  That's the only data that seems to be missing.
I am evaluating platforms, and I can it to post elevation, it might make it to the front of the list.

    Hi guys,

you really need to consider all these request and add Garmin Connect export.

Or at least let us know why this is not happening.

That’s how a support should work imho...

    Thnaks for your feedback

    Hello everyone,

Thank you for all your feedback about Garmin Connect.

Unfortunately, we won't be able to implement it now or in the future.

Garmin asked us to pay a $20,000 one time fee to be able to offload the training log back to Garmin Connect.

As most of our users also have Strava, we decided to go with Strava instead.

    Thank you for your understanding,

    The Kinomap Team

Hi! For some reason Kinomap is not registering training data to Apple Health, although it is correctly using Apple Watch to read HR. Anyone had this issue? Already tried to uninstall/reinstall Kinomap, turn off writing permissions / reboot iphone / turn on permissions, nothing works. Kinomap support forward me to talk to Apple support, but no luck there.

    @PedroT, @Peter

What I found is that you have to have Kinomap watch app installed on you Apple Watch, to be able to get the training dato to Apple Health. The way I have resolved this issue, is by starting Kinomap on my phone, then make sure the Kinomap is also open at the watch, then hit start on the watch and then start the training on the app.

    Hope this helps!.

In a short time, the passage of the information about the heart rate in the Adidas Running application, has disappeared.
Before, the information was transferred without any problem, but right now ... the heart rate has disappeared, information that is quite important to have registered

@Mauricio I also recognize the issues with the default Apple Health / Condition / Activity App on both Phone and Watch… I will try your suggestions given to @PedroT and @Peter. Thank you for that! However apparently it is possible to for KinoMap to read the heart rate from the Apple Health app and show this in the KinoMap app…

Do you know if KinoMap has any plans to improve this interface with Apple since this is a pretty popular app for tracking and gathering your activity from all kinds of different apps. And although you describe a workaround I feel in 2021 this should be much easier…

Currently I just started using KinoMap and I would gladly pay for a membership but I would expect for KinoMap to seriously improve this interface… I hope there will be an answer or update from them! Cheers, Eric M

Hi! I started with Kinomap today. Is it possible to share the route with Strava? Actually I only see a video preview picture in Strava. :-(

Hi Cedric / chaps and Chappesses

Now that Apple is about to seriously dent garmin’s share of the fitness market - the new watch OS really does look like the dogs, I wonder if it is worth while going back to farm and saying our users who currently do have Garmin products love using Kinomap, but it does seem that many may switch to the new Apple watches as they will integrate fully with Kinomap so….

I know I can synchronise files via export and Strava etc - but it is a real pita…. And being honest today I was seriously thinking of doing the life time subscription but I held back due to the lack of proper integration with garmin.

(I have been wheeling and dealing for the last 6 months and I now have fully Kinomap compatible treadmill, rower, elliptical and static bike - I bought the Renpho in the end Cedric!

There is absolutely no reason for me to move from away from my Garmin Fenix 5x (or any Garmin watch) to an Apple Watch. And there is simply one reason: battery life. In fact, Garmin is the only company that has a tremendous advantage above all other companies. They start to implement solar in all their devices (now even the latest Edge has solar built-in). A Apple Watch is a great allrounder but if you are serious about hiking and outdoor activities, it still simply is a no-go...

Garmin are STREETS ahead of Apple with fitness watches and the app in my opinion. Can't see that changing overnight.

The only thing Garmin need to sort is their charge port is awful, not sure why they have gone that way, the 'clamp' charger was way better and there are much better ways to go than the current charge port.

    Oh I agree

But that’s not the point - the point is that Apple have announced some decent things on their smart watch that probably does have the money men at garmin concerned…..

When Apple have announced that their watch will automatically manage translations in triathlon - which neither my garmin 935 or my fenix 6pro can do…. And that’s a major thing imho
(The chances of an Apple Watch having the battery life needed for a fat fifty something to complete a half iron man is of course a different thing…..

I am an Apple fan-boi - but I would not get a watch while I use a garmin for stuff…. But some people will consider an Apple Watch for work outs
